HELLO!
I'm lynx. I mean, that's not my name, but that's what you can call me. I am primarily a warriors roleplayer (warriors as in cats) and I've never actually taken part in a redwall roleplay however, I completely adore the series. I first read it in fifth grade, and thanks to discovering this site, I'm rereading it now. the point is, though, that redwall basically made up my entire fifth grade/sixth grade life. when I heard of mr. jaques's passing, I teared up, I won't lie. he was such a jolly adorable genius of a man. he'll be missed. :c
anyway, I've been roleplaying for about five years so I'm not a particularly bad roleplayer, but I am incredibly lazy. and I'm pro at procrastinating so I'm sorry in advance. xD
anywho, these are my characters!

that's miss kanisp blazefoot-parrar to you!

kanisp is not unlike your average hare in her voracious eating habits, fiercely loyal disposition, and slightly pompous attitude. still, she is completely her own self. kanisp is fiesty, with a sharp, relentless temper. not only that, but she is a very dramatic soul, a hopeless romantic, and is, even in her young age, an admirable boxer.

her father was a hearty salamandastron resident and her mother a young haremaid who took shelter at redwall abbey. upon one of his visits, kanisp's father met the young hare and they were an instant match. friends, and then wedded, the haremaid came to live at the mountain fortress with her husband when she found herself with child. tragic, but not uncommon, she was unable to be saved when the birthing process all went wrong. though kanisp's father mourned heavily for his great loss, he was not left much time to do so, for he was left a baby daughter to raise. kanisp was indeed a troublesome child, sneaking away, stealing, and generally causing mischief, but her father was fair and kind, and she soon understood right from wrong (though that didn't stop her from disegarding the boundary anyway). when kanisp reached her fourteenth season, she was a shameless flirter, catching all the young male hare's attention during their training and the like. but there was trouble down the coast with rat corsairs abound. not an enormous issue, but the inhabitants of salamandastron couldn't stand rats as it was, so kanisp's father was sent out to lead the patrol which was meant to defeat these rats and snuff out their trouble-making. kanisp was assigned to come along, to see her first battle and perhaps even participate. the hares won the fight, but not without several deaths, including that of kanisp's father. though she hadn't witnessed it, the young she-hare was scarred nonetheless. after this incident, her personality has taken on a darker tone, though she remains her bold self, same as always, she is indeed quieter and perhaps less of a flirt.
