Name: Nortias DeWailer
Age: 25 seasons
Species: Hare
Rank: Abbey Warrior
Personality: Nortias' primary mode of living is focused externally, where he deal with things rationally and logically. His secondary mode is internal, where you take things in primarily via your intuition.
Nortias is a natural born leader. He lives in a world of possibilities where he sees all sort challenges to be surmounted, and he wants to be the one responsible for surmounting them. He has a drive for leadership, which is well-served by his quickness to grasp complexities, his ability to absorb a large amount of impersonal information, and his quick and decisive judgments. He is a "take charge" person.
Nortias has a tremendous amount of personal power and presence which will work for him as a force towards achieving his goals. However, this personal power is also an agent of alienation and self-aggrandizement, which Nortias would do well to avoid.
Role Play Example: Nortias sat down with a few of the dibbuns at the grand hall whispering about the badger mother and other adult creatures about how evil and senile they were. He loved playing with these kids, mainly because he never had a chance as a young hare to play around. For him it was straight to Salamandastron. He smiled as one of the female Dibbuns crawled up onto his lap to grip his sword lightly in her paw trying to pull it out.
"Not now little one. Tomorrow I will show you all how I used to fight in Salamandastron with the Long Patrol as the Lt. Commander of third patrol. I'll just tell you one thing. The story I will tell you dibbuns is how I got this scar."
Smiling he held onto the female mouse softly as he walked them all to their beds. But they moaned and cried when he had attempted to leave. "Alright if you little ones promise to be quiet and sleep."
Over five seasons ago Nortias was traveling along with three scouts when he heard a few cries from a nearby, the scouts and Nortias moved forward with swift and silent paws to view the scene. What be folded them was something only nightmares could tell. Mice and Squirrels were running around while their homes were on fire; while otters tried to battle away Rats and other vermin.
Nodding to the fast runner behind him which happened to be a female squirrel he told her to report back to Salamandastron and get reinforcements. Nortias and the other two then shouted their cries as they rushed into battle. Rat after rat came at Nortias and his brown fur. He was marked by the commander who kept shouting for him to be taken down for he was in blood lust.
AS he met the Rat in charge they dueled for mere minutes but what seemed hours. Nortias' sabre had broken in two making his reach hard and thus a wound was inflicted as the Rat scored a hit on Nortias but at the cost of his life for Nortias' broken sabre had pierced his heart and stuck in.
Staggering backward he fell onto his ass lightly crying out in pain as he held his eye which was now bleeding and blind. From Sheer blood loss he fell unconscious and woke up a day later at Salmandastron in the Medical Wing. He could now only see out of his right eye and yet still had his left eye intact but was pure white.
The little ones cried out at this looking at him as he tilted his eye-patch up lightly to reveal his pure white eye. A Dibbun then scurried toward him crying and hugged him tightly,"mis'tu noti'ace you 'r a gweat hewooooo" Shocked lightly he smiled and hugged the dibbun back sighing contentedly. "I only did what was right little one...as I will here and for the rest of my life."
"As the The Great Warrior Martin did before me, I Nortias DeWailer do hereby promise to you little ones that No matter what may it be life or death I will protect everyone in this great Redwall Abbey." As he had spoke that he felt a small release from his body as if something happened. Looking around he had noticed most of the Dibbuns asleep, Smiling he tucked the covers all around the carefully and placed the one he held in his arms in the bed. Carefully and quietly he walked out of the nursery and down the stairs.
