The Gatehouse The exterior of the Abbey. It is the home of the Abbey recorder and Gatekeeper. If you want to get into the Abbey, this is where you'll have to go for the Gatekeeper to let you in. The Gatehouse holds many important documents about the Abbey's history. If you're searching for answers, this is a good place to start. |

The Ramparts Along the walls of the Abbey are the Ramparts. You can come up here to keep lookout or just get away from all of the hustle and bustle. But be warned, you're rather exposed up here, so keep an eye out for any villains. Dibbuns are not allowed up here unless accompanied by an adult. |

The Belltower The Belltower is the highest tower in Redwall where the bells Matthias and Methuselah still remain. The Bellringer rings the bells three times a day or during other celebrations. Only the Bellringer really has a reason to be in the Belltower, but other beasts are allowed around it, so long as they are not up to mischief! |

The Gardens The Abbey Gardens are a nice place to work if it's a part of your chores. There's always a snack if you get hungry and you can expect to never be completely alone when working here or just spending time among the vegetables and flowers. |

The Orchards Many rows of trees are in the Abbey Orchards, most bearing fruit. The Orchards are a lovely way to spend sunny afternoons when chores are done. Feasts are held in them often during the summer. |

The Abbey Pond - 1 Viewing The Abbey Pond is somewhere for all Redwallers to have fun, whether it's swimming, fishing, or wading in the summer, or sliding across the icy surface when the ice is thick enough in the winter. It is, without a doubt, most Redwallers' favorite place to be. But keep an eye on those dibbuns! |

Cavern Hole Cavern Hole is a very snug little place for the Redwallers to spend winter evenings in or just get away from the noise in the Great Hall. This is a great place to come when holding secret meetings or keeping other Abbeybeasts safe during conflict. |

The Cellars The Cellars are a very cool place where all of the ales and cordials are stored. They are overseen by the strong Cellarbeast that with a skill at brewing and making tasty concoctions. |

Great Hall Great Hall is probably the largest room in all of the Abbey. Every meal is served here. Great Hall also houses the tapestry of Martin the Warrior and Martin's Sword. There are also stained glass windows that cast the Hall in beautiful lights. |

The Kitchens You can always find delicious food in the Redwall kitchens. They're also a nice place to do chores when the weather is chilly or dreary. There's always snacks ready, but make sure you don't push the head cook too much or steal food or there will be trouble on the horizon. |

The Library If you can't find what you're looking for in the Gatehouse, then your next best bet is the Library. Though dusty and filled to the brim with books and scrolls and diaries about nearly ever Redwaller that has ever lived. |

The Infirmiry Feeling a bit under the weather? Fall off the ramparts? Get into a scuffle with someone? Then you'd better head up to the Infirmiry. You can bet that you'll get physiqued no matter your ailment, but a few days of down time will see that you're right as rain and that you don't want to be back any time soon. |

The Dormitories - 1 Viewing The Dormitories are where every beast sleeps that doesn't already have a specific place to stay. The Dibbuns and other young beasts stay in a room separate from the others in order to let every other beast get some sleep. |

The Attic There aren't very many creatures that can get into the Abbey Attic. Being very old and dangerous to nearly everyone, no one can climb the stairs with very much hope that they'll be coming back down except for those that are very small and light. |

The Woods - 1 Viewing Mossflower Wood is a large expanse of trees, stretching for as far as the eye can see. There is no tree that you could call "common" as, it seems, there is every species of tree here, some as old as the Abbey. River Moss River Moss is a very useful guide through Mossflower Wood. It is also the choice mode of transportation by the Guosim shrews or any creature travelling from the sea. Most of it is smooth sailing, but there are dangers in the rapids and the different species of carnivorous fish that call River Moss home. Sub-board: Mezla's Holt |

The Marshlands Just as it sounds, the Marshlands are a large expanse of marsh, full of half-solid, half-liquid land masses. Only beasts that know this land like the back of their palm can navigate the Marshlands without worry of being sucked in and never seen again. |

Brockhall The fabled stronghold of Brockhall seems to always be hidden from the Abbeybeasts if it goes unexplored for too long. Luckily, in this generation, its whereabouts are known, but it is not often visited, there being no real use to go there unless for the common adventure for young beasts that have never seen it. |

The Forge The Badger Lord or Lady's main refuge in the mountain. It is filled with various weapons, shields, and armor. Very few creatures are allowed into the Forge aside from a few of the badgers' most trusted advisors, or those that need to be reprimanded. |

The Barracks - 1 Viewing The Barracks are where all of the single Long Patrol hares sleep. It can be somewhat cramped, but there is not much they can do. Those hares with families have their own personal dormitories. |

Mess Hall The Mess Hall is where the ranks of the Long Patrol and those in training for the Long Patrol dine. You can never expect it to be a quiet or neat affair, so it is not for someone with a weak (or small) stomach. |

The Training Quarters This is where all of the prospective Long Patrol Hares are trained in the ways of the Patrol and in combat. Usually training is carried on outside on the beaches for the larger area, but other training devices can be found here, such as wooden swords, vermin dummies, and the like. |
